Guy, I've had to log into the forum for the first time in years to comment on this. I was a recipient of this letter, and replied to it, pointing out that these "concerns" were highlighted to you well before the existing car park was closed, and that your inaction, in part, and the ensuring closure of the car park caused the "parking stresses" which mean I can't park in my own street after 7pm. To be fair to you, you did actually reply to that email - the first time I've received a response from you on this subject - stating that you were "aware there were concerns after planning was approved and (you) wrote to Katherine Dunne and Steve Curran on 14th March raising concerns. Katherine replied that she was in contact with residents and were having a meeting that week with residents. I asked her to keep me informed but as far as I can see that didn’t happen. I confess that as a councillor I am pretty diligent in responding to concerns but that I do not have a follow up system. I more or less invariably ask residents to remind me if things don’t get resolved." As you didn't reply to my initial emails, I never received this request and so didn't remind you. I cannot see why anything will change now. Although I don't want the Conservatives in power anywhere, you have made it incredibly difficult to vote Labour on Thursday.
