Hi there, since clamping on private land was banned I have seen selfish car drivers abusing the system collecting up to 80 tickets for the same violation. They now think they can park anywhere they want and don't pay the fine. Credit score is not a problem as they will never ask for a mortgage or a phone contract because the Council will be always there for them providing a nice flat and pocket money for a pay as you go phone. Don't you think that - in case the same offender has collected 5 tickets for the same violation - there should be in place a way to clamp the car? so to force a payment and teach these people to respect the rules? I understand why the Government decided to ban it but it's now becoming a joke and too many selfish drivers are abusing the system and nothing can be done to stop them. If the system was unfair before it is now again unfair and discriminating law obeying drivers. Happy to read your thoughts and suggestions how to bring this request forward. Thanks for reading. |
