| My comment was concise and to the point and is exactly what I would say to anyone supporting this ridiculous cpz. Anyone who WANTS to cough up even more money to the council in the hope of gaining a regular parking space is, in my opinion, an idiot. There will clearly be less parking spaces available. Around the Griffin alone there will be at least 5 spaces lost as the pub has 3 dropped kerbs where cars currently park but which will have yellow lines painted across them. Across the road from the Griffin in Braemar Road there is another large dropped kerb where at least 2 cars can currently park and this too will have yellow lines and this is just one corner of the proposed area. Do the maths. Less road to park in and a fee to pay to boot. Excellent! |
