Further to my original post - the Feltham comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek as mentioned - 'word on the grapevine' - but loved the instant denial from Theo. I know Ballymore have made a provision for the Watermans Arts Centre in their plans for the High Street which is still in the consultation stage but what I am saying is Watermans, in its present location, will be closed by 2013 for the development of another bunch of flats. And what's then to stop the development of the adjacent park? Oh, and when, not if, Watermans does relocate bet there won't be any free parking either? Kath - rereading what I wrote about contracts - I must admit its a bit misleading - and it was meant to be - because I don't want to land anyone in deep doo-doo but there are contracts which are not being renewed in the forthcoming year. I can't name names but perhaps a.n.other would like to share their thoughts about this - probably won't be forthcoming as persons concerned don't like to rock the boat, whereas me, not only will I rock the boat, will capsize it and see what surfaces. Don't forget I also mentioned that the adjacent office block has been taken off the market. Why? Cue Theo Dennison! |
