| Without wishing to be picky, I think it only counts as a threat if there is a possibility that it is going to happen. Last time there was 'a threat' I asked the Leader of the Council what was going on and he was unequivocal and he remains so - it ain't gonna close, it ain't gonna move to Hounslow (or Feltham or Timbucktoo), it belongs in Brentford and there it will stay. Meetings were set up at that time by the relevant lead members with Ballymore and the Watermans and the two have also spoken to each other: Watermans said they had ambitions to move to the centre of Brentford and Ballymore have carved out a box for them in their plans for south of the High Street as the basis for further but future discussions. Nuff said. |
