| Exactly Vanessa, you have hit the nail on the head. It is a question of priorities. And although I don't believe that, if adequately resourced, the present administration would want to close our libraries, I also do not believe that community facilities such as these and public halls are as high up their list of priorities as they would be with an administration that included the ICG. This is why I believe it to be important that communities demonstrate their opposition to cuts and closures. Politicians of any shade will always sit up and take note if there is any prospect of their majorities being a casualty of their decisions. |
