| Bleedin eck, if they actually get round to building new dwellings in Brentford then there may even be people to fill the seats of a tidied up pub. I have a suspicion that its not a viable business as it stands. I was in the 6 bells last night - empty. Its definitely not a gastropub - just a decent pub that's been cleaned up. Where's all these "brentonian" customers who claim to miss the demise of the local pubs? Or does the removal of 50 years of dirt and some new furniture mean its become too gentrified? |
