Was it the 55 or 55a bus to Edensor Road? 

Here is a scanned image from a local History book. I don't recall which one.
Ye old Chiswick Swimming Pool
This was the big pool. Sometimes there was hardly anyone around at all..and one had the pool to oneself! It could be very cold sometimes..whether you were hardcore or not!
