| Speaking to the Sales Office the other day, a young lady confirmed that it was planned for the Skylon skyscraper to be a mixture of smart hotel and serviced apartments linked to the Hotel. Jorgen will be excited to hear that the top floor will be a restaurant with a Champagne Bar! Anyway, Jorgen is our local expert seemingly and he has produced several good pictures on the Skyscrapers website. Just COPY AND PASTE. The young lady was grateful to learn that the original SKYLON was built on the South Bank adjacent to the Festival Hall in 1950/1951 as part of the Festival of Britain Exhibition. http://tinyurl.com/2mendq |
