| Neil, a couple of days ago I accompanied the Council surveyors on a brief site visit, prior to their doing a survey of the buildings on the application site. Seems there is considerable discrepancy on floor space estimations between the Council's figures and those of ISIS! We got to see inside the covered warehouses for photos, which was my interest, plus a couple of the art deco ones. They are rather fine, but I doubt if the Council are too bothered frankly, so long as the industrial use is retained for the site as a whole. A pity, they seem in good nick with no earthly reason why they should not be utilised efficiently for their original purpose. |
