As someone who lived in Windmill Road for 34 years until 2021, I can remember the road 'flooding' once during that time. A particularly sudden and heavy shower caused the water to spill over the pavement both sides and creep up our paths and driveways a little. Slightly concerning at the time, but that was it. There have been far, far worse disasters in Windmill Road the biggest being LTN. Why I left.
