| As of this morning, Cadent's gas pipe replacement in Windmill Road seems to be coming to an end although traffic lights are still in operation. For Avenue Road etc. there is a bewildering array of notices. Gas pipe replacement and parking suspensions in Avenue Road seem to be scheduled as follow: 21st - 27th September: south side from Windmill Road to No. 34, north side from Windmill Road to No. 15. 28th September - 4th October: south side from No. 33 to Enfield Road junction, north side from No.16 to No.27 28th September - 7th October:there is a separate notice for the stretch between the Windmill Road junction to outside No.1 Avenue Road. The works by Hounslow Highways (installation of Sustainable Urban Drainage System) are scheduled as follows: 24 August for 5 weeks: western end of Whitestile Road (currently closed to traffic). 21st September - 30th October: parking suspension outside Nos.140-156 Windmill Road (west side of Windmill Road). There are also parking suspension notices to carry out street cleansing in Enfield Road (29th September) and Grove Road (28th September). Good luck with that! |
