| Yes. First its not a case of wanting to its a case of having to. Hounslow has a multi million black hole in its finances. The question you ask deserves answers to a whole host of services and council expenditure. I cannot answer all of them here However, should a local hustings be organised I would gladly attend to give my answers below is an outline of my priorities So I would prioritise services: Social care for the elderly, infirm and vulnerable (safe) Services refuse street cleaning footpaths and roads (safe) Young people and education (safe) New Leisure centre in Brentford funding for park improvements Hounslow heath Hanworth air park Lampton (cut) Building bicycle lanes (cut) Translating leaflets and printing into 200 different languages (cut) Hounslow Matters magazine (cut) Roll out of the planned 2000 ev electric vehicle charging points |
