I thought I had replied to this yesterday but it didn't work. From the head of traffic "We will void all PCNs issued on GDL before noon yesterday." I don't know if the restrictions on GDL make money - my guess is they don't and it certainly wasn't the intention. It was very popular indeed with people who live on that road previously jammed by people avoiding the Ealing Road traffic Lights and trying to get further up the traditional queue to the Kew Bridge traffic lights, which sometimes stretched back as far as Ealing Road. But people have short memories, It seems that his daughter has lived with the £15 congestion charge for the last 21 years since it was introduced by Ken Livingstone and endorsed by Boris Johnson
