| The homes near Kew Bridge have been rezoned as part of Chiswick Riverside. Lionel Road North and Popes Lane have been rezoned as part of Chiswick Gunnersbury ie the old Turnham Green ward with a chunk of Brentford added. The original proposal from the boundaries commission suggested that Chiswick was reduced from 9 seats to 8 (and there were other things I disagreed with, such as the fact that what people think of as Brentford town centre was previously always in Syon) I believe the Conservative argument was accepted whereas my proposal was ignored, so we ended up with Brentford centre being called Syon and Brentford Lock. I represent a ward called Brentford West, which is the first ward you find if you move East from Brentford (but not as far as Brentford East) |
