| John Connelly Bernard, my sympathies to all who were forced to wait for vaccinations in Chiswick today. John It wasn't the wait so much as to where you were asked to wait, on the entrance ramp outside the building in the freezing cold. Not a good way to look after our over 80 year old residents, as some have already got Existing Conditions which could have been made worse by waiting that long in the cold weather. I would have waited if there was somewhere inside the building out of the cold. However, I fail to see how your local MP can be held responsible for a vaccination programme organised by a government in which she pays no role. In mitigation, what the government is trying to do is a major exercise in difficult circumstances. Because you try and find someone to email or talk to about it. Ruth Cadbury MP at least can kick some rear end of the people we cannot get to, so a better location can be found. |
