| It seems that it is almost compulsory for people now to become or dabble in "trans" - I'm too ancient to take all this on board. Of course, all people should be treated with kindness, courtesy and respect and I hope I do that. When I was growing up it was illegal for male gays to be with another male. In my late teens, we were very close to a lovely chap who desperately wished he was not gay - he went out with my sister for almost a year but to no avail. I worked with him in an enormous art/photographic studio where so many of the talented people there were gay. All were totally accepted and even loved. It's all these other confusing genders that are so strange, to me at least. I hope they find happiness. |
