Well lucky you being paid overtime!  I was in management and on more than one occasion I and my fellow managers worked ALL NIGHT until 6 am shifting stuff about to get a store open in time for the local mayor to cut the blue ribbon across the entrance.   This happened in Nottingham, then The Hague, followed by Brussels and finally Northampton!  Those were the days but we were a happy band.  The same thing applied when I worked for a big American Company, few of the Yanks stayed late, all the Europeans did though setting up an exhibition in New York.
