Spare parts have to be sourced from whichever overseas company makes them. It seems to have become a growing problem. Not many years ago I remember a problem because the spare parts manufacturers had had a fire and a new provider of spare parts had to be found. Strict insurance regulations will keep them out of service. It has made me think about the design of buildings. If you can have two lifts - do- and design so you have access to the second lift when the first is out of order! |
