| I would suggest that it is vital that there is a mix of social and leisure amenities in order for a community to thrive, whatever the demographics. So, yes social housing has it's place,but so does the social cohesion more likely to be achieved by having a diversity of facilities for people to use,like cinemas, swimming pools, libraries, youth clubs etc. alongside pubs, restaurants and cafes. |
