The fact is that this particular lady made this complaint - so what on earth was wrong with one - or indeed all - Syon councillors responding to her and making enquiries? Bleating about how unfair 'social media' is, is just pathetic, it's a two way street for goodness sake. As for the Trump comparison, what utter twaddle! What it is dear- shown by what is going on all over the political landscape at the moment - is that a lot of people are brassed off with the likes of you not listening to the electorate, but thinking you know what's best for us. Personally I was not a Bexiteer and had I been a US voter I wouldn't have touched Trump with a sh*tty stick, but I do actually get the sheer frustration of voters with people like councillors. There are some exceptions, but by Christ there are some dreadful examples too. Who for instance would have pursued that stupid wheelie bin nonsense? Hardly the mark of an astute, politically sensitive individual. I think that local politicians might do well to consider themselves on notice, with what's happened recently you could all find yourselves getting a boot up the backside. |
