| 'It was decided to restrict the new paid green service to two bags or a brown wheelie bin following representations from the collecting operatives'. Seems as though the tail may be wagging the dog to some extent.I do sympathise with workers to a some extent, but any rule without some reasonable exceptions (someone may have a massive garden) are bound to be unpopular.After all they are paying for collection of all their garden waste..not just some of their garden waste. I doubt that anyone with 3 or 4 bags would need all of them every fortnight, probably using 2 in some of the winter weeks for example, any more than I need the full capacity of my wheelie bin every collection. |
