| All the warnings were there and made, and, as usual for this Borough, dismissed and ignored. Typical of current local administration and politics. This current crop of arrogant and pig ignorant are diseasing Labour, who simply will not listen and have not a scrap of practical thinking between all but a few of them, we end up with millions wasted and no gain. Quite the opposite. Decline, decline, decline. The fact that Space Waye, a Public Amenity, funded by the public, is not going to be a public access site for most of the week beggars belief. In every single LBH and Councillor missive over waste and wheelie bins and garden waste, Space wayEs is the cited, recommended solution and alternative. What about those who work weekends? This borough has one of the highest proportions of shift and non 9-5 Mon-Fri workers in the UK and by far in London with Ealing and Hillingdon the next nearest. Do they all get a rebate for being denied a facility if they happen to work weekends? Cllr Mann and the incompetent officers really ought to resign or be removed. How can they make such a mess of what is a huge and profitable industry that feeds off it? |
