Jim

Councillor Lynch was invited to the meeting in his capacity as Chair of the relevant section of the Thames Landscape Strategy.  Sadly he was double-booked and unable to come.  Not his fault, but he would have been most welcome.

In his place we were told that the three prospective Conservative local election candidates for Isleworth would attend, at least two of whom would appear not to be resident in the area.  I thought this was cacky - this was a meeting about a development which will impact upon the lives of hundreds of Isleworth people, not an election hustings.

Anyway, in the event none of them found their way to Isleworth Public Hall.  Which rather illustrates my point, methinks.
