Whilst we are on the subject of the ICG leaflet, the following passage caught my eye: "The originator of the (Labour) leaflet was an agitator from outside the borough who has a particular loathing for community activity not controlled by his party." That is a complete porkie. Just because someone opposes a highly political organisation like the ICG (whose self-appointed leader has a controversial track record) that does not mean they also oppose legitimate community organisations like the Isleworth Society or the Heston Residents Association. Elsewhere on this thread Phil Andrews has complained about the alleged untruths told in Labour newsletters. Shouldn't he get his own house in order? |
