| Of course these are not the only hospitals proposed to close also on the agenda are Central Middlesex and Ealing Hospitals,the consultation on the closures ends on 8th October 2012. Andy Slaughter MP is the man of the moment who is doing his utmost to stop these disgraceful closures. At Charing X for instance if these proposals go through, then only the Urgent Care Centre would remain staffed by GPs and nurses able to treat only a limited number of minor conditions.The rest of the hospital including all 500 in-patient beds and the New Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit, would close or move ELSEWHERE!!!! and the land would be SOLD off,probably for high rise flats. It would be exactly the same for Hammersmith,Central Middlesex and Ealing, where do they expect us to be treated, is this not going back in time to when you had to pay 2/6 to go to hospital to see a Doctor just after World War II. nowadays you are talking thousands of pounds for treatment, which in itself is ludicrous when people can barely afford to pay there Council Tax. Our government really needs to look at these proposals again and then throw them out, and realise that we the people do matter. YOU WERE VOTED IN AND YOU CAN JUST AS EASILY BE VOTED OUT. |
