| My response is somewhat delayed due to other commitments and then a brief trip away. I am sure that you will be pleased that the sign came down when promised. Such a shame you thought it an eyesore, such good quality provided by a local company as their contribution to the festival and in turn put up to display by another contributor. We rely very much on the generosity of our local neighbours and volunteers. Keith, if you know of anyone prepared to print and distribute posters to local pubs etc.(at no cost to the festival) then I would love to hear from you/them. The festival I am pleased to say broke even - with increased advertising costs we did not make our usual profit. The cafe and bar did however make a profit and an order for two cycle racks for the park will be made shortly. |
