| That’s where you are wrong Jim. I congratulated Philip Lynch on his award, or did you miss that? My point is that reporting on local politics is woeful despite the best efforts of the LDRS. Sure, there are stories about councils failures (and occasional successes) but where’s the proper digging into what’s really happening? None existent, otherwise councils like Hounslow and Ealing would have bucked their ideas up years ago. A lot of what passes for reporting is rehashed press releases, which anyone with a passing interest in journalism can spot a like off. Maybe you and Jeremy could team up to become the Woodward and Bernstein of west London. |
