| Huge increase in Dog ownership. The new must have accessory, seems to have replaced children. Dog walking is big business as well as grooming, daycare and food. As like the nice shiny car, not so many are keen to look after it themselves but get someone else to do all that. I find it amusing and ironic how people I know crib about childcare costs but never about their Doggy Day Care. We simply don't have space for a dog, but while we lived in Barnet, my wife did do Guide Dog Puppy walking for a few years. Was a bit of a process and had a few emotional strings pulled but was very rewarding. Highly recommended. |
