| Apparently Hounslow Council made an error when reporting the turnout and it was actually 28.45% Still low but not remarkably so. Is it possible that turnout is falling because an increasing proportion of the population are renters living in the new tower blocks and feel less engaged with local matters? It would be interesting to hear how canvassing went in these new buildings including whether or not many knocks were answered. |
