It's good that a councillor - cllr Salmon Shaheen of Isleworth ward - is concerned about sewage dumping in the Thames. (Article 'Two Billion Litres of Sewage Dumped in Thames in Two Days'). But councillors should realise that they are actually part of the cause of sewage dumping. Thay keep giving planning permission for huge blocks of flats without regard to the impact on insfrastructure or services, be it hospitals, schools, transport or sewage. |
