| Living in a smallish apartment block in Brentford and (having a hybrid car) we occasionally take a car load to a recycling centre, with some stuff from other residents. Not all have cars. Townmead is hard to access (scarce slots) but really good when you are there. The Hounslow Space Waye facility is awful - a longer drive and when you get there they have blocked the former entrance and you have to instead negotiate a very tricky, narrow, kerbed slalom. My wife congratulated me on inching through without scraping our new wheels. Once inside it's fine but why a slalom that no larger car could negotiate without damage? Ours is just Focus-sized. |
