| We ought to be able to increase our NI contributions voluntarily and increase our state pension. Self Employed pensions schemes are terrible as are a lot of private ones. Local Govt, education and state organisations, and services have very good pensions, but for many outside of corporates, pensions are not going to be up to much. I would far prefer to pay a bit extra to the state voluntarily than into my private pension which is dreadful - yet rated in the top three! Thus supporting this country in the process. |
