| There's not much the police can do about a private party - if it had taken place, say, in Gunnersbury Park ( a public place) they'd have been able to break it up. They can't enter and search prems, as a general rule, without a warrant even if they're told there's drugs in the back garden. And as one of the officers said to me, they wouldn't enter a house of over 50 people without substantial back-up. He mentioned lack of resources in the same breath. The noise bloke mentioned contacting local councillors - so if any of them are reading this....... |
