It's a real pity that Cllr. Curran's constituents haven't got him on speed dial, unlike the Duke of Northumberland's estate when he's thinking of putting in yet another planning application on the Park Road allotments, where they lost a public planning inquiry just eighteen months ago. The estate doesn't seem to have any trouble with getting the councillor to attend to them with planning officers in tow. Never mind the interests of local people who objected, clearly the aristocracy are far more important than the electorate.
