If you want a vision of what our little town may look like soon, take the train to Waterloo and count all the new tower blocks from Battersea Power Station onwards.   The new "Nine Elms" development is how Brentford will probably look, albeit with the odd low-rise reminder of what we've lost.  It is a sea of brick and balconies and glass and metal and concrete, with wind tunnels at foot-level and blocked views of the Thames.  What "communities" are being created?
