My understanding is that politicians on all sides were unable to comprimise on a deal in the last 3 years so the EU have granted a short extention. Unfortunately the default set out by EU is that we leave on the 31st October. This wasn't set out by our parliament. Hopefully a better deal which MPs can agree on may be available by October 17th? You can't just blame the Tories. Parliament cross party voted for the referendum to take place. If the Tories fail to deliver they will be wiped out in a GE. It is what it is. |
