And of course, being an Irish company they probably bank their profits in Euros instead of Pounds. With the exchange rate having dropped 20%, that makes anything they build in the UK less profitable. Did the council have any terms and conditions in the agreements stipulating a time frame for the work to commence or a 'use or lose' clause? |
