| I grew up in the country, and it is much nicer and safer walking at night without streetlights. I miss it, and relish it when I visit my parents. you should try it. As a pedestrian, one is much safer without streetlights because vehicle lights are MUCH more noticeable. I would say that you, perhaps, are not accustomed to walking at night, in the dark. Try it, see the stars, save the planet, spend less tax revenue on light and more on social services! |
