| That's very interesting Sarah. I was talking to a friend today whose mum had her purse taken 3 weeks ago. Went in to a bank on the high street, took money out, went to TKMax and her purse had been taken before she even got to the till. Returned to the bank and was informed she was the 5th person reporting the same crime that morning- they'd only been open 2 hours! They were just the ones who had noticed and been back to inform the bank. Poor lady was very shaken and certainly wont be back to the high street. Shame the banks don't warn their customers as this is obviously a pattern. Someone should be taking action. Seems the high street has been abandoned to the criminal element and we have been abandoned to them. The fact the men I saw had the audacity to try the cards at cashpoints on the same high street they'd stolen them from says they have no fear of being caught or worry about anyone checking CCTV. If I can spot them they should be pretty easy for the police to see them. |
