| I get the impression she is taking the view that she is ahead and that these little issues will not stand in her way. What really is astounding though is that LBH has recently been advertising for two (not one, two) Community Engagement Officers, each on a salary of £31,296 to £33,846, to "lead on developing and delivering on a new approach to community development and engagement across the borough". As it is patently obvious from recent events that this present regime has not the slightest regard for community engagement even at the most basic level would it be unreasonable to assume that, despite the cutback in government grant, expensive non-jobs are still being created at the public's expense for their mates to fill? |
