| Now seems the time to form a Civic Society like that have in Ealing. It has been a highly successful non political guardian of conservation areas and the excesses of developers and seeing as we have councillors of all parties who cannot be trusted to be reliable or honest,serving their their ideology foermost all too often against the interests of residents and the quality of the towns history, then this might be a better way. There is a national network of Civic Societies and I'm sure the Ealing one will offer help in getting established. |
