Ian,

A mate of mine works in a small almost Dickensian workshop at the Uxbridge Rd end of St.Stephen's Rd in they smelt lead there in order to make sah weighs etc.They may be able to cast brass for you.I'm not sure what the place is called but it is on the right hand side as you look down St.Stephen's Rd about 25yds down.
