The borough border is down the middle of Rugby Road, as well as Tesco, Varsity Close estate is also part of Hounslow and is in the electoral ward of Isleworth. Similarly if anyone at ASDA or any of the shops on the Ivybridge parade were to go out to Twickenham Rd. and look at the old milestone on the bridge they would see that they are also still in Isleworth. This is just snobbery if you ask me.
