| Yes Sair! That's the very one,doesn't it look like a proper pub,very pretty? I used Google Earth to look for any building that had those lovely green tiles but obviously missed it,thanks a lot. I shall visit it next time I'm down in June. It was when they were filming A Hard Days Night on (is it?) Thornbury Playing Fields 23rd April'64. We were sitting in there waiting to get on the table for 10 minutes before I realised who they were,they were so quiet,hardly talking. Of course when I told the rest of our table they all turned round to have a look,at that Paul looked at Ringo and George and nodded towards the door and they departed. On the plus side we did get our game of bar billiards in. :o) |
