I have heard from a Council worker that one of the consultants at KPMG, who ran the Performance Improvement Plan to remove jobs (and raise managers salaries), made recommendations to remove IT staff and then arrange to install herself as a director of IT on over 100k.  Can any Councillor or officer confirm this as it seems hugely inappropriate.  The Council won't release details of the officers on over 100k so I suspect it to be true.
