| It's a different 'home' model. The studios are small - bed, kitchen, bathroom kitchen table. But there are (allegedly) various communal areas - cinemas, lounges, gyms, garden areas (probably on the 50th floor!) restaurant/cafe/bar areas. Most development is not like you say: it is more likely to be a HMO created out of a small house with 4 or 5 'studios' often very badly converted and maintained, and often more expensive than in a place like is proposed at the roundabout. To me the price which he mentioned (£1600 inclusive of everything) sounds very high to me but comparable to studios on the market in Brentford (probably larger, but not inclusive and without as much communal areas) |
