| It never appears to me that there is much happening. It nevertheless seems a good initiative and as long as the staff are getting on with other work while there (are they?) i think it is worth persevering. It surely must be a good thing to bring the Council to the people so to speak. How to up the number of visitors is another thing. An exception to not much happening is the Citizen's Advice (monthly?) visit. I saw a no. of people sitting round in the lobby once and it appeared that they were queuing for this service. I wonder how the drop in health bus - blood pressure checks etc - fares. It would be interesting to know how the hubs at other libraries fare. |
