| The cynical switching of parties by people seeking to hold on to a Council seat does nothing to restore trust in politics. People want a change, not the same people who delivered little, dressed up in different clothes. It reeks of entitlement. Guy when you were on the Cabinet in 2024 you earned over thirty four thousand pounds. I read your blogs about going here and there meeting this person and that. What did you actually achieve or change in your time. I asked for your help when the Council wanted to install parking bays on the riverside Promenade at Dukes Meadows in breach of rules supposed to protect the river, including the Mayor of London's blue ribbon strategy. The spaces were needed for overspill parking from some of the sports clubs, for their events. You wouldn't for fear of crossing the then leader Steve Curran and losing your Cabinet position and extra allowances. Not very green or community minded. |
