Which as I simply pointed would be totally contrary to the provision of the protective covenant of 1925/6 namely that - “they will not use the land and hereditaments for any purpose other than as a public park or sports ground and that the mansion houses and buildings on the said land…shall not at any time…be used except for such public purposes as may be ancillary to the use thereof as aforesaid…” And while a successful section 86 application to the Lands Tribunal might succeed in modifying those provisions, as I also pointed out this would require the co-opertion of the owners on houses on both Lionel Road Nothe and part of Popes Lane who are also beneficiaries of the covenant. All facts you can doubtless confirm for yourself without any need for me to have to explain it all to you on Saturday morning. Or at any other time. You are simply too thin skinned to be a politician. It's almost impossible to imagine what your reaction might be if you had to endure the level of abuse regularly meted out to Cllr Biddulph in Chiswick. And no I'm not a Conservative michael adams |
